    Conponents Installation and Assembly [ JSL Heavy-duty 25mm PVC Venetian Blinds] On window blinds with 3 brackets please ensure one bracket is fitted exactly over the cord lock mechanism 1.Location of brackets This blind maybe positioned: ·Inside Mounting-fit to the inside of the window frame.See fig.1. ·Outside Mounting-fit to the outside of the window frame.See fig.2. ·Ceiling Mounting-Fit it to the ciling above the window frame.See fig.3. 2.To install Center Support If there are Center support,please ensure one Center support is fitted exactly over the cord lock mechanism.Use long Screw to fix Center Support.The side with 2screw holes should face to the ceiling.The side with 3 screw holes should face to the wall.Ensuring the location allows the blind to sit horizontally when fitted or parallel to the window when fitted on the ceiling. JSL Colorful 25mm PVC Venetian Blinds are easy to install. See fig.4. 3.Place Blind into the Bracket.See fig.5. 4.Slide the Bracket Face Plate into the Bracket. See fig.6. 5.Place the Wand into the Blind.See fig.7.Onblinds less 90cm in width the wand is supplied in 2 pieces with a middle connector. 6.Use short Screw to fix the Hold Down Brackets.See fig.8 7.Hole on end cap of the bottom rail fits into Hold Down Brackets at the end of the window.See fig.9. Shorten the blind NOTE:Before fitting you can custom fit the blind to the correct height. 1.The Height:When the blind is fully lowered.There should be no slats over lapping at the bottom of the blind.If over lapping occurs you can remove slats to allow a custom fit. 2.Hold the blind at the desired location and allow it to fully lower.In the open position the slats should be approximately 2cm apart. NOTE:In the open position,slats are approximate 2cm apart.A good rule of thumb is to remove 8 slats for every six inches you wish to shorten the blind. 3.Lay blind on a flat surface and remove the caps on the bottom end slat.The caps are attached to the lift cords.See fig.11. 4.Cut lift cord 2cm above cap and remove.Pull the lift cord from these slats to allow them to slide out of the ladder rung. See fig.12. 5.Count the number of slats you wish to remove.Pull lift cord from these slats to allow them to slide out of the ladder rung. See fig.13. 6.Remember to allow for the bottom end slat to be reinserted.Reinsert the lift cord through the cap holes and then insert back through the top and the caps.See fig.14. 7.Knot lift cord directly beneath caps and cut off excess cord.Allow one extra rung and cut off excess ladder,now tuck remaining ladder into the bottom end slat cap holes.Replace caps.See fig.14 and 15. 8.After blind is shortened you may wish to adjust the pull cord length.Raise up the plastic cover over the knot and cut off excess cord and then re-knot.   To operate blind Lowering:Hold cord at eye level and push to left pulling down gently until cord lock releases.Allow cord to slip through fingers until blind reaches desired level.Move pull cord to the right and the blind will lock automatically.     INSTRUCTIONS 1.Accessories Enclosed A. 1 × Bind B. 2 × Mounting Brackets C. 2 × Control/Tilt Wand D. 2 × Hold down Brackets E. 1 × pack of Screws for Brackets 2.Location of PVC Venetian Blinds Brackets This bind may be positioned A. Lnside the window recess. B. Outside the window recess. C. On any overhead surface such as the ceiling or upper inside edge of the window frame. 3.Positioning and Securing the Brackets 1 With the bind fuly opened,hold up to the wall in the position it will hang. 2 If the blind is to hang in a recess,allow at least 5mm clearance on each side of the blind. 3 Ensure that the blind is centred left to right and the headrail is level. 4 Make a clear mark with a pencil( 6mm past each end of the headrail). 5 With the larger holes facing top and bottom,level against the pencil mark you have just made.Screw the bracket to the wall or ceiling.The second bracket should be fixed similarly. Be careful to cnsure it is level with the first 25mm PVC Venetian blinds bracket. 6 Note: Wider blinds have a centre support bracket! 7 With the tilt wand laid on the left hand side place the headrail in the brackets. 4 Operating 1 To lower the blind, pull the lift cord to the left. This will release the cold lock.Lower the blind as required. 2 Pull the lift cord to the right and release to engage the cord lock. 3 To raise the blind, pull on the lift cord until the blind is at the required height.Extend the lift cord to the right and release to engage the cord lock. 4 To alter the angle of the slats,rotate the tilt wand. FITTING INSTRUCTION CONTINUED ON REVERSE 5 Shortening Such as 1 Inch PVC Venetian Blinds A.With the blind fully open,remove the buttons in the lift cord. B. Remove base rail and surplus slats. C. Cut off excess ladder cord ensuring about one inch surplus remains. D. Rr-thread lift cord into base rail and re-tie knot in end of lift cord. Insert surplus ladder cord into base rail and replace button. 6 Hold down Brackets IF you want to fix the base rail to the window sill attach brackets to window frame or sill on each side of the base rail and secure the pin ends on the brackets in the holes provided in the base rail. 7 Cleaning These blinds may be cleaned with a damp cloth or mild soap and water solution. Young children can strangle in the loop of pull cords, chains and tapes,and cords that operate window coverings. They can also wrap cords around their necks. To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of reach of children. Move beds,cots and furniture away from window covering cords.     INTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND OPER TION OF 2'' FAUX WOOD BLIND Thank you for purchasing your blinds. We hope that you will enjoy the quality and value of our products. Prior to installation. plcase read instructions and familiarize yourself with the parts of the blind. (Figure A) This package contains: Blind Valance and end pieces 2(or more)Valance Clips 2 Mounting Brackets (left,right) 2 hold down brackets Intermediate Support Brackets (On blinds 36" wide or greater) Installation screws Necessary tools: Screwdriver Tape measure Drill HOW TO INSTALL THE HORIZONTAL 2'' FAUX WOOD BLIND 1. Attach the 2 inch faux wood venetian blinds Brackets Installing End Brackets: Find the end brackets in the bracket pack. Determine where to position each bracket. There is a left bracket and a right bracket. (Figure B & C) Inside Frame Mounting For inside mounting, position top of the bracket against inside surface of the window frame. Diagonally install the two mounting screws. Make sure end brackets are level. (Figure D) Outside Frame Mounting For outside nounting,place the bracket on the surface of the window molding or wall and attach with fasteners sufficient for the installation. (Figure E) Installing 50mm Foam Wood Venetian Blinds Support Brackets (These are provided for blinds over 36'' wide) Space brackets evenly along headrail, between end brackets. Position each bracket so that it will not interfere with movement of the working parts inside the headrail. Make sure support brackets are level with the mounting brackets. (Figure F) Secure support brackets with two screws to window frame(inside mount) or molding (outside mount). 2. Install Headrail Note:When using support brackets,you must first cngage the headrail before inserting the blinds into the end brackets. Lift headrail into position. Insert the headrail into the end brackets. Push headrail all the way back so that the front of the headrail is completely inserted into the brackets. Close the end bracket covers until they snap into place. To remove the headrail, swing the bracket cover up or the side. (You may use a screwdrivcr tip to push the cover open). Remove the headrail. 3. Hang the Valance The plastic valance clips slide into the back of the valance and clip onto the headrail. Attach valance side pieces to outside mount. If inside mount does not have enough room for valance chp to hook onto headrail, attach valance to headrail with heavy-duly double sided foam tape or Velcro.

    A. Your Blinds ( PVC Vertical Blinds, Fabric Vertical Blinds, or Aluminum Vertical Blinds for you to choose ) Your blind is supplied with a Metal Pre-coated Headrail that can be easily cut to reduce the length, if required. The latest safety designed Wand Contral unit allows you to easily draw the Blind Vane & rotate them to the required angle.   B. Pack Contents Metal Headrail-fully assembled with a complete plastic retractable track, hook units, and plastic endcaps for headrail. Other Parts: Wand Control, Headrail Fixing Brackets, Fixing Screw & Wall Plugs, Adjustable Vane Hangers, Vane Bottom Weights, Stabilising Chain. Also, you may need the following tools:   C. The Headrail If you wish to reduce the length: 1. Fully extend retractable track (hook units) along the Metal Headrail. 2. Remove the adjustable plastic Headrail End-cap, adjacent to the Wand Control Hook, by simply unscrewing 3 screws. 3. Measure the length you require, starting from the end opposite the Wand Control end - mark position - if your mark is above a hook unit, move the hook unit, until it is clear of your mark. 4. Cut completely through the Metal Headrail using your hacksaw - make sure your cut is square. 5. Take the small of - cut piece & remove the plastic retractable end piece - by simply removing the adjustable strap underneath & retain. 6. Now fit back the retained retractable end piece to the rest of the plastic track by gently squeezing the sides of the plastic strap underneath the retractable track. 7. Fit back the plastic Endcap to Metal Headrail.   D. Installing the Headrail 1. Fit the Headrail using the brackets provided. The Wand Control can be at eighter left or right hand side. 2. When fitting to plaster, use the plastic Wall Plugs provided. 3. Each outer bracket should be approximately 10-15 cm from the end of the Metal Headrail with the remaining brackets equally spaced between. 4. If the Vanes are not hanging evenly, turn the Wand in any direction until it comes to stop. Then force the Wand further, the clicking sound is the Vanes lining up. Repeat this process in the opposite direction until the Vanes hang evenly.   E. Fitting the Vanes 1. Fit the adjustable Vane Hangers to the Metal Headrail hook units. 2. Place the Weights in the bottom pockets of the Vanes. 3. If adjustment is required, remove the Vanes from the adjustable Vane Hangers (Top) & adjust length as necessary. 4. When satisfied with the length of the Vanes, trim the excess vane with Sharp Pair of Scissors.——Note: Ensure the vane is folded in the same direction as the bottom pockets! 5. Repeat this process for the remaining Vanes. 6. Chain on the Stabilising Chain to Bottom Weights.

Please follow these quick and easy instructions to fit your blind. You will need a pencil, ruler, tape measure, hacksaw, scissors, craft knife, drill and spirit level.   Self-fit Roller Blinds——Assembly and Fitting Instrutions A. Pack contents This Pack contains (Fig 1): Wheel Bracket, Corded Wheel, Pin Plugger, Pin Plugger Bracket, Screw*4, Weight, Safety Device   B. Fixing the Brackets For inside recess fixing, screw brackets to window frame. For outside recess fixing, screw brackets to wall allowing 51 mm (2") clearance on each side and above window recess. Note: Check brackets are level using the ruler or your blind may hang crooked(Fig 2).   C. Measure the gap distance between the brackets   D. Cutting the blinds Unroll the blind onto that smooth surface. Slide the fabric out of the tube far enough to trim the required amount of fabric. Remove the bottom bar from its pocket. Mark out the measurement less 30mm than the gap between the brackets and draw a dotted lined down the length of the blind. Cut 5 mm wider than the fabric using a fine tooth hacksaw. Finally cut the bottom bar to suit the width of the fabric and resert into the pocket (Fig 3). Note: For scallop and eyelets blinds trim the same amount off both sides of the fabric in order to balance the trim at the bottom of the blind.   E. Fitting the corded wheel Place the corded wheel into the desired end of the tube, and the pin plunger into the other end. Fit the corded wheal into bracket.   F. Fitting into the brackets Now fit the pin plunger end into the pin plunger bracket.   G. Safety Device A tension device is included with this product & must be installed to avoid any possible strangulation hazard to children. Loop Ball Chain onto tension device & secure with screws provided to wall or architrave at a height where the chain is taut but can pass pfeely. Clip on tension device cover(Fig 4).

Step1: Check package contents Blind Width (600mm-1200mm): 2 Mounting Brackets and 8 Bracket Screws Blind Width (150mm-2400mm): 3 Mounting Brackets and 12 Bracket Screws Step2: Checklist- You'll need the following tools Drill (with 5.5mm drill bit) Measuring Tape Screwdriver Pencil Ruler Step Ladder Step3: Hanging your blind Use the universal bracket, you can install your outdoor venetian blinds into the recess (Fig 1) or on the face of the window(Fig 2).       For window recess / ceiling mounting: Mark the position of the bracket on the ceiling or inside the window frame with a pencil. Ensure that you have at least 60mm clearance (of burglar bars and handles) in the window recess. For wall face mounting: Mark the position of the bracket on the wall with a pencil. Allow 100mm above window to ensure plaster will not chip off. Hold your blind up against the places you have marked to ensure that the brackets will not interfere with the working mechanism inside the headrail of the blind. Use a spirit level to ensure that your brackets are level. Drill the holes. Insert wall plugs into the holes and screw brackets into position. Turn the lever on the brackets to the open position (Fig 3). Clip the headrail of your blind into the brackets (Fig 4) and turn the lever to the closed position, (Fig 5) ensuring that the lever carches the lip of the rail. Attach the wand to hook of the headrail (Fig 6).   Step4: Operating your blind To lower the blind, simply pull the cord to the left to release the cord-lock and hold while the blind drops. Allow the blind to drop to the desired height. Pull the cord to the right to lock the cord in place. To raise the blind, pull the cord to the left to release the cord-lock and pull to the desired height. Pull cord to the right to lock into place again. Twist the wand to tilt slats open and closed. Always ensure the slats are open before raising your Aluminum Venetian blinds. Step5: Cleaning your blind Use a feather duster for your quick clean. A slightly damp cloth for more thorough cleaning.
