How to clean Venetian Blinds

The materials used in modern home decoration are becoming more and more abundant. For example, the types of curtains are becoming more and more diversified. Many families choose practical blinds, which are connected and folded by many sheets, and have the functions of ventilation, shading and sound insulation. However, it is a very troublesome thing to clean up every leaf of blinds. So, how to clean the blinds and what are the precautions for cleaning the blinds?

When cleaning venetian blinds, close the curtains first, spray an appropriate amount of water or polishing agent, and dry the cloth to keep it clean and bright. As for the position of the curtain drawstring, you can use a soft bristle brush to wipe it. If the curtains are dirty, they can be cleaned with a cloth dipped in some warm water-soluble detergent, or wiped with a small amount of ammonia solution.

Do not close the blinds that are still wet after cleaning, otherwise they may not dry completely, which may cause scaly peeling.

If you plan to dry the newly cleaned JSL blinds, you must first wipe off the water droplets on the surface of the blades, and then perform drying measures, otherwise the surface of the blades will have wheel-like stains.

When wiping the curtains of JSL's blinds, you should wear thick gloves, and then use your fingers to dip in the detergent to wipe. After wiping one side, turn the leaves to the opposite angle and use the same method to wipe the other side.

If the blinds are very dirty, they can be soaked in a bathtub for a while, and then washed with a sponge or cloth.

Regular maintenance. Venetian blinds do not need to be washed frequently. Dust removal is usually done once every six months, and a comprehensive cleaning once a year is sufficient.
