Here, I gonna to show you "How to Install Venetian Blinds with Wall Bracket?"
Step1: Check package contents
Blind Width (600mm-1200mm): 2 Mounting Brackets and 8 Bracket Screws
Blind Width (150mm-2400mm): 3 Mounting Brackets and 12 Bracket Screws
Step2: Checklist- You'll need the following tools
Drill (with 5.5mm drill bit)
Measuring Tape
Screwdriver
Pencil
Ruler
Step Ladder
Step3: Hanging your blind
Use the universal bracket, you can install your outdoor venetian blinds into the recess (Fig 1) or on the face of the window(Fig 2).
For window recess / ceiling mounting:
Mark the position of the bracket on the ceiling or inside the window frame with a pencil.
Ensure that you have at least 60mm clearance (of burglar bars and handles) in the window recess.
For wall face mounting:
Mark the position of the bracket on the wall with a pencil.
Allow 100mm above window to ensure plaster will not chip off.
Hold your blind up against the places you have marked to ensure that the brackets will not interfere with the working mechanism inside the headrail of the blind.
Use a spirit level to ensure that your brackets are level.
Drill the holes.
Insert wall plugs into the holes and screw brackets into position.
Turn the lever on the brackets to the open position (Fig 3).
Clip the headrail of your blind into the brackets (Fig 4) and turn the lever to the closed position, (Fig 5) ensuring that the lever carches the lip of the rail.
Attach the wand to hook of the headrail (Fig 6).
Step4: Operating your blind
To lower the blind, simply pull the cord to the left to release the cord-lock and hold while the blind drops. Allow the blind to drop to the desired height. Pull the cord to the right to lock the cord in place.
To raise the blind, pull the cord to the left to release the cord-lock and pull to the desired height. Pull cord to the right to lock into place again.
Twist the wand to tilt slats open and closed. Always ensure the slats are open before raising your Aluminum Venetian blinds.
Step5: Cleaning your blind
Use a feather duster for your quick clean.
A slightly damp cloth for more thorough cleaning.
